Pricing and Travel

for Workshops & Trunk Shows

I am happy to travel to your location to present a workshop or lecture about rug hooking or needle punch embroidery. I can also visit for a trunk show or for a book & pattern signing event. If you choose to have a Trunk Show, I can be there for one half day to meet with your customers.

Read the following information, which applies to any type of personal appearance, and then email or phone me so we can chat about how we can tailor a workshop, lecture, or trunk show to meet your needs.

Pricing Information

	Price per lecture or book/pattern signing $250.00 (2-hour appearance)
	Price per 3-hour workshop or 4-hour trunk show appearance $400.00
	Price per 6-hour (full-day) workshop $600.00
	Prices above include handouts or other printed materials for workshop or lecture, if applicable.
	Prices above do not include magazine or book copies for signing appearances.
	Prices above do not include travel, lodging, meals or the cost of shipping any required materials.
	Lodging accommodations must be in a B&B or hotel (no private homes).

Travel Requirements

I will decide if I must travel by vehicle or by air, depending upon how close your venue is to my home.

Travel by Vehicle

If your location is within a 2-hour drive of my home in Amherst OH, lodging is not necessary. If you are farther away, or if your event begins in the morning hours, I will travel the day before and stay overnight closer to your location. I make all arrangements for lodging, and send you a YDriving Travel Estimate, which includes lodging & meal costs based on the normal Federal per diem rate method listed in the most current IRS publication 1542 and mileage fees based on current Federal Rate.

Travel by Air

I make my own flight and hotel reservations. Please note that new airline regulations regarding baggage requires me to charge an additional $75.00 to bring show materials on the plane. For me to be able to arrange the most economical airline flight, please provide all necessary information (contract and any other supporting information) 90 days prior to the event. I supply you with an YAirline Travel Estimate, which includes round- trip airfare, transportation to and from Cleveland Hopkins Airport, long-term parking rates the airport, plus mileage at Federal Rate.

Transportation to and from the hotel and from your airport will also be included in the estimate. Optionally, you may choose to have a representative of your organization provide transportation at your expense during my stay.

YTravel Estimates are provided as approximate travel expenses for your planning purposes. After workshop or lecture contracts are signed and returned to me, I can make final arrangements; therefore, the initial estimates can vary compared to the final actual cost charged to you, depending upon actual air fares or gasoline prices and lodging prices.
