This sheer interfacing-type fabric has red dots printed every inch to help transfer your rug hooking pattern straight on your rug backing. Trace pattern onto red dot tracer, then lay tracing on rug backing and trace again with Sharpie marker; lines bleed through to your rug backing and you have a permanent pattern on the red dot tracer for use again.

Use this inexpensive, but handy, tool with your rotary cutter to easily cut 3/16 inch (#6 rug hooking strip) and 1/4 inch (#8 rug hooking strip) strips for rug hooking. Includes 9 x 16 inch cutting mat and guide ruler. Mat has cutting lines for 3/16 inch strips on one side & for 1/4 inch strips on the other side. Ruler has top and bottom guide to move ruler without wrinkling fabric. Pretty cool, huh?

Primitive Moshimer rug hook. Use for hooking wide cut wool strips (#6 and up). Hard wood handle and stainless steel shank and hook. Comfortable & easy, like an old friend!

Individually handcrafted in Ireland of brass & yew wood. The ball handle is easy to hold and use. The brass shank is wide to provide an opening in the foundation that makes it easy to pull your wool strips through without tugging! I started with smaller, narrow-shank hook, and when I found a Hartman hook, hooking became much easier and more enjoyable. Hartman hooks are beautiful handcrafted tools that you will use forever!

These measuring spoons will help you with the smallest amounts of dye - they measure 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32 of a teaspoon. I have used this set for all my dyeing and they work just fine - consistency is the key when measuring dye to reproduce a color on wool - always use the same set of spoons!  I find that if I always use the same spoons, I can come very close to the same color every time.

These extra-heavy rubber gloves will protect your hands from hot dye pots and steaming wool while dyeing. And they are very reasonably priced! Gloves are marked #10 and fit even large hands (if your hands are extra small, these might not be the ones for you.)

 Beautifully crafted gripper frame that swivels 360 degrees and also tilts. Octagonal shape holds more of your pattern in the open area at one time (more than 10 extra inches) and also reduces the risk of bumping your elbows as you swivel the frame.

Ours is the only octagonal top that has carding all the way around with no gaps, to ensure a no pucker hooking area. Oak cutter stand comes with removable aluminum legs, making it so easy to take it with you as you travel to guilds, meetings, and camps. Legs clamp to underside of stand and are held firmly in place with easy to tighten knobs. When you arrive, just pop the legs on, attach your cutter and you are comfy and ready to go! Great for home use, too!

NOTE: If you wish to use the cutter stand with a Townsend cutter, please note that in the Message box when you order so we can make the legs slightly longer.
