I hope my passion for rug hooking shows in my work, and I hope you enjoy browsing these pages of my handcrafted goods. I love to imagine, as I create, where each piece will end up. I have been fortunate to meet and email with many customers who have found an appreciation for my work, and a place in their homes for some of my pieces. I have sold art work since 1984. Many of my pieces have found their way into homes all around the world. That continues to be my inspiration and spurs my enthusiasm every time I start a new painting or hooking. Or, I can hook a rug of any commercially available pattern that you might choose. I work in primitive wool cuts (1/4-inch and larger). If you love the antique primitive look with lots of textures and an aged feel, that's what I do best! Interested? Let's talk!

Spring Robin Rug

I love this antique hooked rug design and I hope you will, too. I hooked it with lots of texture for instant age and charm. This has been one of my favorite old rugs for a long time -- the robin is bring Spring along amidst the hearts in the corners. Model for Create & Decorate project design, Spring 2007.

This is the model I hooked for my design project in Create & Decorate magazine, April 2008 issue. This is my hooked rug adaptation of the old princess feather quilt pattern. This large 16-inch pillow is finished with a beautiful heavy fringe and backed with tan wool.  These beautiful, soft colors will grace your sofa or favorite chair nicely.

I love to hook designs for Fall and Halloween. This one is my adaptation of the old black cat post card. Love his bow tie with the polka dots. I hooked the background in several green and gold wools for that wormy look.

This piece is sized perfectly for a chair pad, but it would also be perfect on a table or even hung on your door for the season!

Barn Star Pillow - reversible

Wool Hand-Embroidered Stocking

Hit 'n' Miss Stocking

I hooked this design through mustard and grey wools, then joined them together to form this great, reversible pillow. It was featured in Create & Decorate magazine's Holiday issue 2006. This is the model used for the magazine photography. It is about 16 inches.

This one isn't hooked, but it is wool! Red wool with hand embroidery and patching makes this stocking look old, but it's newly made by me. "Merry Christmas" & dated 1910 in green embroidery. Makes a great mantle decoration.

I love this stocking! Short, stout, and full of prim colors. Backed with vintage red plaid wool- see that here. It'll hold a lot of Christmas surprises!
