For me, folk art painting goes hand-in-hand with my rug hooking and designing. So, it just seemed natural for me to design and paint accessories to make your rug hooking easier and more fun -- below are my offerings of hand-painted boxes, bowls, clocks and more designed just for YOU!

Y Wool Storage Boxes

Large, stack of six hand-painted, color-coded boxes to display, while you store your woolies by color!  Great for those left-over strips and small pieces that are so difficult to store. Boxes measure 3 - 9 inches across and will be round or oval, depending upon availability. Hand-painted lettering on boxes: Hooks, Golds, Blues, Greens, Reds, Backgrounds.

Y Hookin' Keepers

My Hookin' Keepers hold your rug hooking tools, snippets, and worms. Paper mache boxes measure about 8 inches, round or oval depending upon availability. Large enough to hold your hooks and scissors, but small enough to take anywhere, easily.

Wouldn't one look great just sitting on your table? Take the lid off a Hookin' Keeper box, turn it over and you have a great tray to drop those pesky little snippets into while you're hooking - no more snips all over your lap and floor!

I use aging techniques in my painting to give all my boxes & bowls a soft, primitive look and a feeling that they've been around a long time. Each is finished inside and out for a warm, mellow sheen. My finish helps keep them clean and dust-free, too.
