Pillows & Runners

I like to give you lots of options when choosing a pattern. I take great care to ensure my hand-drawn patterns are straight on grain and edges are sealed to prevent fraying while hooking. Patterns come with ample space around pattern for ease in hooking and attaching to your frame. If you order a kit with wool, the wools may vary somewhat from the photos shown here, depending upon availability. Kits with wool are non-returnable. Examples shown here are of some of the patterns as I have hooked them -- but please, use your favorite colors and have fun with them - you'll be amazed at how different they can look in other color schemes.

Each pattern is hand-drawn on 100% primitive linen or on red dot tracing fabric (you select.) Some designs are available in kit form with wool, either whole cloth or cut strips (cutting charges apply.) All patterns and kits include instruction sheet with photo.

Penny Flower Welcome

This is pretty way to welcome guests to your home; place it on a table or hang in an entry way. Hook it in colors to coordinate with your home or hook one for a friend! Available in light or dark wools; select color choice when ordering a kit with wool. Dark is shown. Bright colors in popup.

13 x 13 inches

Primitive Penny Runner

This long and narrow runner is the perfect primitive accent for floor, table, bench or wherever! I hooked it in primitive muted wools. 55 x 12 inches

Antique Pomegranates

Another small, quick project that would be perfect for a beginner, but just as much fun for an experienced rug hooker.

Measures 15 x 15 inches - a nice size for a table mat or to hang on a cupboard.

Antique Pottery

I used soft, old colors in my overdyed wools to give this rug an aged and well-loved appearance. Looks great hanging over a grouping of the real thing - redware, stoneware, & mixing bowls. Large: 22 x 28  inches or Small: 16 x 14

Patriot’s Pineapple

I designed this pattern for Create & Decorate magazine & it was featured on the cover in June 2004! The pineapple has long been the Colonial American symbol of hospitality, and I thought it would be appropriate to design this one surrounded with elements of the flag as its border.

14 x 20 inches

Olde Hearts & Penny

This design makes a beautiful table mat in soft, country colors for rug hookers of any skill level. The simplicity of the design is still a great option for beginners, too. 16 x 12 inches

Take Me to the Beach

Summer brings out the fun in me, I think. I love summertime and going to the beach. I envision this rug on the porch of a welcoming old cottage on the beach. Or at your house or mine - anywhere!

28 x 23 inches

This mat was so much fun to design and hook. Sunflowers are one of my favorites -- God is the greatest designer of all! I hooked the petals of the sunflowers with very long loops, and then I clipped the loops unevenly to make the fringy petals. When I hooked the centers, I hooked the outer rows closer and the inner rows a bit longer to give some roundness to the heads to resemble the seeds.

Spot the Cat

A Cat named Spot for obvious reasons. I hooked this rug so long ago, and so many customers have asked for the pattern over the years. So finally - here he is! Featured in SpoolMag, (September 2011) he is a very proud feline.

Hooked & Prodded Wreath

I designed this cool wreath for Create and Decorate magazine; you will love this wreath hanging on your door or surrounding aHooked & Prodded Wreath holiday candle. Half hooked and half prodded, it is the ultimate in holiday texture and beauty. Do it up in another color combination for any holiday or just to coordinate with a room. Pattern on linen.
