Policies are subject to change without notice

Shipping rates start at $7.00 for USPS Priority Mail. If you are in a shipping zone farther south or west from Ohio, rates will be slightly higher. You will enter your shipping state at checkout. Increasing the number of items purchased will increase the shipping cost. Any overages in shipping calculated by the cart will be refunded to your payment method.

If you need to contact me concerning an item you purchased or if you have a question about my ordering process, please send me an e-mail with the details.  I will handle your question immediately!

NOTE:  For commissioned works, please speak with me via phone or email regarding approximate shipping times and costs. Commissions and special orders are non-returnable. Due to the nature of some of my items (antiques and one-of-a-kind folk art), items are subject to prior sale. No returns on special order items, such as commission works, special orders or sale items.

Orders & Payments ~ USA Orders ONLY, Please!

I try to serve your needs by accepting various methods of payment -- here you will find all you need to know about making payments and shipping methods for your orders.

Credit Card Payments

I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards or PayPal accounts using my secure shopping cart. It's now easier than ever to use PayPal to pay with a credit card. A PayPal  account is not needed.

All your information is safe and extremely secure when you use PayPal and credit card processing at my web site; SSL secure servers handle all your financial information; only the secure processor accesses your information - I never see or handle your financial information.

Mail Order Payments

I accept orders payable by personal check, bank check or money order (USD only). Use my shopping cart to place your order - I'll use that order form for tracking and processing your order.

To make your payment via postal mail, check out through the shopping cart and select ‘mailed’ as method of payment. Print the order form and send it with your payment. IMPORTANT: Make all checks and money orders payable to Sally Van Nuys

Ohio Sales Tax is automatically added to your total if  Ohio is your shipping address.

Shipping Info

Due to the limitations of my shopping cart, shipping on orders are calculated by the number of items in the cart, not by their weight. If you order several light-weight items, the shipping will calculate too high. If you are overcharged for shipping, I will see that on your order, and refund part of your shipping back to your original payment method immediately.

Shipping only within the United States -- No C.O.D. orders.

Shipping Times

If you pay using your major credit card or direct checking via PayPal - I ship within 5 days unless an item is out of stock. In back-order, slow order or out of stock cases, I will email you if your order cannot be shipped within 7 days. If you expect a shipment and it does not arrive when you think it should, please don't hesitate to email and inquire about shipping status. If you pay by money order or bank check via postal mail - I ship within 10 days after payment is received unless an item is out of stock (see above). If you pay by personal check via postal mail - I ship when your check clears the banks; usually 7-10 days after deposit. A $25.00 charge is assessed for all checks returned for insufficient funds - no exceptions. Orders cannot be canceled due to slow delivery; once an order is posted to the mail system, it is their responsibility to delivery your order in a timely fashion. Please let me know if you do not receive your order and I can provide you a tracking number that can help your postal carrier locate your package. Postal insurance can be added to your order upon request, which will provide you with with an added resource in obtaining a refund of the cost of your order via USPS.

Postal Insurance

Postal insurance is not automatically included in the cart. If you wish to insure your items, please email to let me know and I will give you the additional amount to pay for insurance. I recommend postal insurance for breakable, fragile, or expensive items. We cannot be held responsible for damaged or lost items after they are shipped. If the need arises, I will certainly do whatever I can to help you file a postal claim.

Return Policies

  1. First obtain a return authorization (RA) from me. Not all items are returnable; if the item is defective or not what you ordered, there is no problem. Otherwise, please notify me of your wish to return an item within 3 days of receipt of the item, then if your item can be returned, I will send you an RA via e-mail.
  2. Original shipping is not refunded, nor is shipping and insurance for a return. When you return an item, include the item, the original receipt, and a copy of the return authorization (RA) e-mail.
  3. Ship these items to me in the original carton , if possible, packed well. I recommend that you insure return packages. If an uninsured item is lost in shipping or arrives damaged, I cannot issue a refund.
  4. I must receive the item within 10 days after I issue your RA; the item must be in the same condition as sent. I will inspect the returned item and issue your refund using the same method you used to make your payment (credit to your card or a check in the mail.)
