If you need to contact me concerning an item you purchased or if you have a question about my ordering process, please send me an e-mail with the details.  I will handle your question immediately!

NOTE:  For commissioned works, please speak with me via phone or email regarding approximate shipping times and costs. Commissioned and special orders are non-returnable. Due to the nature of some of my items (antiques and one-of-a-kind folk art), all items are subject to prior sale. No returns on special order items, such as commission works or special orders of silicone bulbs (over 12 bulbs.)

I try to serve your needs by accepting various methods of payment -- here you will find all you need to know about making payments and shipping methods for your orders.

Credit Card Payments

I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards using my secure shopping cart or by phone. You no longer have to provide your credit card numbers online if you would rather talk to me! Just call me with your order at 440-233-6246 and I can take your payment by phone.

You can also use the PayPal Express Checkout and your current PayPal account, just like always, only easier and faster with Express Checkout (select that option during the order process.) It's now easier than ever to use PayPal to pay with a credit card.

All your information is safe and extremely secure when you use PayPal or my credit card processing at my web site; SSL secure servers handle all your financial information.

Mail Order Payments

I accept orders payable by personal check, bank check or money order (USD only). Use my shopping cart to place your order - I'll use that order form for tracking and processing your order.

To make your payment via postal mail, check out through the shopping cart and select your mail order method of payment. Print the order form and send it with your payment.

Ohio Sales Tax is automatically added to your total if you indicate Ohio as your shipping address.

Shipping

I ship most orders via Priority Mail. I realize that shipping can get pricey when your items are large or heavy, so in those cases I will ship via the most economical way. I have calculated shipping for the best value and expediency. If you have any questions about shipping on an item or order, or a special shipping request, please email me before placing your order.

Due to the limitations of my shopping cart, shipping on orders are calculated by the number of items, not by weight. You you order several light-weight items, the shipping will calculate too high. If you are overcharged for shipping, I will see that on your order, and refund part of your shipping back to your credit card immediately.

Shipping only within the United States -- Canadian orders placed and paid for with PayPal will be refunded to your PayPal account, minus the PayPal fees. No C.O.D. orders.

Postal Insurance

Postal insurance is not automatically included in the cart. If you wish to insure your items, please email to let me know and I will give you the additional amount to pay for insurance. I recommend postal insurance for breakable, fragile, or expensive items. We cannot be held responsible for damaged or lost items after they are shipped. If the need arises, I will certainly do whatever I can to help you file a postal claim.

Shipping Times

	If you pay using your major credit card or direct checking via PayPal - I ship within 7 days unless an item is out of stock. In Back order or out of stock cases, I will always email you if your order cannot be shipped within 7 days. If you expect a shipment and it does not arrive when you think it should, please don't hesitate to email and inquire about shipping status.
	If you pay by money order or bank check via postal mail - I ship within 7 days after payment is received unless an item is out of stock (see above).
	If you pay by personal check via postal mail - I ship when your check clears the banks; usually 7-10 days after deposit. A $25.00 charge is assessed for all checks returned for insufficient funds - no exceptions.

Return Policies

Please be aware of size and colors before you place your order. Keep in mind that colors do not appear the same on all computer monitors. Each of my hooked rugs and folk art items are one-of-a-kind and will not be exactly duplicated. If the items is marked one-of-a-kind (OOAK), there will not be more like it. Hand-painted gift and accessory items are not one-of-a-kind, but each one will be slightly different. Some of my folk art uses reclaimed materials or surfaces. Commissioned and one-of-a-kind items are non-returnable.

I go to great lengths to accurately and fully describe my items, including any flaws or condition problems with antique or vintage items. However, in the unlikely event that you need to return an item, please do the following:

First obtain a return authorization (RA) from me. Not all items are returnable; if the item is defective or not what you ordered, there is no problem. Otherwise, please notify me of your wish to return an item within 3 days of receipt of the item, then if your item can be returned, I will send you an RA via e-mail. Original shipping is refunded, however, shipping and insurance for a return is not.

When you return an item, include the item, the original receipt, and a copy of the return authorization (RA) e-mail. Ship these items to me in the original carton , if possible, packed well.

I recommend that you insure return packages. If an uninsured item is lost in shipping or arrives damaged, I cannot issue a refund.

I must receive the item within 10 days after I issue your RA; the item must be in the same condition as sent. I will inspect the returned item and issue your refund using the same method you used to make your payment (credit to your card or a check in the mail.)

If you wish to contact me concerning my privacy policy, please send me an e-mail with your questions or use my Feedback form. I will handle your questions immediately!

Folk 'n' Fiber - Folk Art & Rug Hooking will never sell, or otherwise distribute, any private information that you provide. I collect your name and e-mail address as part of my permission-based, e-mailing list for the sole purpose of sending you special announcements and my free, newsletter. I only e-mail these to you if you choose to sign up (or opt-in). I do not advocate nor use spamming practices. If at any time you wish to stop receiving these mailings, simply click the opt-out link at the bottom of the e-mail and you will automatically be removed from my mailing list.

I collect your address, email address and phone number for shipping and receipt verification processes when you make a purchase at my site. None of your private information will ever be sold, distributed or otherwise provided to any other internet site or physical business.

If you pay for a purchase via credit card at PayPal or by telephone,  your financial information is private and secure and handled with extreme security, following all federal guidelines. At no time will any of your credit card or personal information, obtained in relation to a credit card purchase, be stored at my location.

Also read PayPal's Privacy Policy at their site; they use strict privacy measures and are a high security site, so your private information, and your credit card and checking account numbers are extremely secure there.
