	A unique, one-of-a-kind pillow created from a 100% wool sweater. The soft, muted tones of this wool pillow will accent any decor. A men's herringbone design, 100% wool sweater is now a great accent pillow. Two-toned gray herringbone forms the background on top of which I dry felted a square of gorgeous hand over-dyed green wool. Deep rusty red felted roving follows the line of the wool inset and felted leaves and swirls form the design at the center. The ribbed waist band of the original sweater is now at the top of the pillow, embellished with three beautiful vintage buttons in greens and red. Measures 14 x 14 inches. A new commercial pillow form was used inside to give this pillow a nice, full feeling.	Another unique, one-of-a-kind pillow. This pillow is a companion to the square pillow with leaves and swirls seen at left. This pillow was the neckline and shoulders of the original gray herringbone sweater. After felting the 100% wool sweater, I created this fun pillow using the V-neck at the top and adding patches of the same over-dyed green wool to the front. Rusty red embroidery fixes the neckline inset and patches, and adds another punch of color that coordinates perfectly with the colors of the companion pillow. Can't you see this in your home? Perfect for a den, teen's room, dorm room, or anywhere you want a fun accent. Measures 16 x 9.5 inches - filled with new, lofty fiberfill (no lumps!)

	Upcycled Sweater Bag - Candy Striper	Upcycled Sweater Bag - Rust Medallion
	I use 100% wool sweaters, felt them, and then use their parts to create unique purses and bags, adding embellishments of wool & vintage trims and buttons. You'll love this Hobo bag created from a rose-colored wool striped sweater. The stripes adorn the body of the bag and also alternate sides of the strap handles. The cut bottom corners add a little interest to the shape of the bag. Vintage buttons form the closure with pretty silk ribbons. Bag is lined with a neutral cotton print. Measures 17 wide x 10.5 deep; 21 inches from top to bottom with handles. Wool is not just for winter anymore!	This bag started life as a dull 100% wool sweater -- but baby, look at it now! Heathery rust felted wool forms the body of the handbag. I created the embellishment by needle punching the design through hand-dyed wool and then sewed it to the purse front. The turned cuff hem at the opening of the bag is needle felted to the body of the bag. A rolled and felted handle adorned with little buttons of felted roving bring an added fashion touch to this one-of-a-kind purse. Lining is a neutral cotton print. Three hook and loop closures along the top inside edge keep this bag looking beautiful. Measures 13.5 wide x 7 deep; 15 inches from top to bottom with the handle.

	Fun to make and fun to wear! Loops of 100% wool create a loopy flower. I then add little wool flower buds and hearts to the center. The leaves are cut from my highly mottled, hand-overdyed wool. A pin back completes the creation so you can wear it on your coat, jacket lapel, hat, or even your bag.	Here is another loopy flower, made just the like the other, but this one has a larger heart in the center, created from overdyed red and white checked wool. Some added loops of contrasting checked wool provide a little interest. Same great mottled wool leaves.

Restyled & Upcycled Jackets My newest designs in vintage textiles! I take men's vintage sports jackets and restyle and up-cycle them into beautiful women's jackets by adding fur collars (some new and some vintage), antique buttons and bits of antique jewelry. The cuffs get turned back and antique lace is added as an accent. Jackets are Dryell cleaned. The greatest thing, in my opinion, about these jackets is all the pockets - inside and outside. You never have to carry a purse while shopping! Cell phone, checkbook, credit cards, lipstick -- all the essentials you need have their own pocket! Inside pockets are wonderful for securing your valuables and deep outside pockets keep your cell phone handy. Each jacket is one-of-a-kind. Comes with artist signed and dated hang tag. Here's a great find! This gorgeous antique lace collar is in pristine condition! I just don't know what to say about it other than it is beautiful and would make a fabulous addition to a collection, or a stunning piece of art if you mounted it on a black matte board and framed it in a pretty gold frame. It measures 36 inches long (opened up) and 10.5 inches at the widest point across. From an Ohio estate of a lady in her 90s.	This large make-do pin cushion is pieced and stitched from a remnant of a beautiful old quilt and some overdyed wool to match. I added hand stitching in soft gray-green, trimmed it with an antique lace doily, and attached it to a vintage silver tidbit tray. I added a pink & white checked antique button and a beautiful old key for fun. See more images by clicking the image here.
