I painted this large gourd then added a faux-rusty hat & topped it with a mini pumpkin (putka pod). The brim of his hat is pleated kraft paper with Halloween images stamped in brown ink. Measures 15 inches tall. Signed & dated. |
These guys are really fun! Hooked fronts and backs of coordinating wools create these stuffed Jacks on rusty bed springs - so primitive! Each is 14 inches tall.Jack #1 will be featured in Create and Decorate magazine in the Fall 2008 issue. This totally primitive cat make-do looks a bit scared, don't you think? He is made completely of wool and appliquéd with wool threads. His whiskers are pieces of old wool fringe. He is sitting atop of a vintage funnel that I painted all around with seasonal pumpkins. Top to bottom, he is 10 inches tall. |
